Member Services
Forest Lake offers its members a variety of services. Some are free to members in good standing. Others require a small fee. Our volunteers offer services as well. The local townships also offer services. A brief description follows. Please use the contact us form to let us know if we have missed anything. Trash Drop Off
Sundays: Noon to 2 PM
Wednesdays: 2 PM to 4 PM
Contact the office for holiday hours!
$1.00 ea – Up to 13 Gallon Bag or Container
$2.00 ea – 14-30 Gallon Bag or Container
$3.00 ea – Over 30 Gallon Bag or Container
NOTE: All building materials and large household items like furniture and mattresses are not accepted. These items can be taken to the Republic Landfill in Pinconning, Mi. Monday – Friday 7am-4pm. (989) 879-3372.Please make sure all household trash is bagged and closed. All lids on trash dumpsters must be completely closed or we are fined by Waste Management $120 per container. Moffatt Twp. also offers bagged trash drop off on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9 – noon and the same cost as FLPOA. Location is the Township garage on Newberry St. in Alger.
Burn Pile and Leaf Pile
There is a compost pile for leaves next the shed in the campgrounds and a burn pile for sticks and logs on the roadside of the campground. Our maintenance crew performs the burns. Please do not light the fire.Please include only natural materials. No paper bags or plastic are allowed. The burn pile will open on 9/5/23 -Hours of operation are Tuesdays 2pm -4pm and Saturdays 2pm -4pm
Maintenance and Housekeeping
Maintenance and Housekeeping keep our buildings, parks, and equipment in tip top shape.
Maintenance also handles the Snowplow club in the winter months.
Security 989-836-2787
Forest lake has its own security patrol seven days a week. Please call 911 first in an emergency. One of the services security offers is away checks on your home. Please fill out the contact us form below and include information on who to contact in case of issues and any information on neighbors or relatives that may have access to your home. Please include the date you are departing and returning.
Snowplow Club
Please print the form below and either mail it or drop it in the office. Forms and payment are due by November 15.
Please make sure your address is visible and your driveway is marked.

Welcome Committee
Welcome to Forest Lake. Please stop by the Forest Lake Office to receive information regarding your amenities and scheduled activities offered!
Storage Yard
Registered vehicles, boats, and trailers can be stored in our storage yard. Please pick up a sticker in the office (currently $50 per year). Make sure you bring your current registration. Forest Lake is not responsible for damages.
Seasonal Camping
Seasonal camping is offered to members in good standing. There is a wait list on the camping page. Please use the contact us form below to have your name added to the list. The current cost is $1250 per season. Off season storage is also available for seasonal campers for $100 per season.
Clubhouse, Pavilion, or Barbecue Pit Rental
You can rent the clubhouse, pavilion, and barbecue pits at Clubhouse Park and the two pavilions at Sandhill Crane park for private parties and events.
Boat Dock Rental
We have a wait list for boat docks at Forest Lake. Docks are only available to members in good standing.

Lending Library
Gail Schoenherr carefully selects newer books or varying genres to create a wonderful lending library for Forest Lake Members. It is housed inside our office building. Stop in and pick out a book. Please return books in order by author.
Children's Lending Library
Need a book for a visiting grandchild or for your own litte reader? Choose a book for our children's lending library. Please return books in good condition.
Garden Club
Our garden club helps keep our grounds beautiful. They plant, weed, and water. If you have a green thumb and would like to help out, please use the contact us form below and we will pass your information on. Write Garden Club in the subject please.
Mosquito Spraying
Moffatt Township sprays for mosquitos. The company they use is APM Mosquito | Mosquitoes are all we do! (advancedmosquito.com).
If you would like to opt out of spraying, please fillout the opt out form and send it in.
